Creative-thinking versus creativity ?

I think creative thinking is part of creativity. Creative thinking is basically about lateral thinking (as opposed to linear thinking or rational thinking). What is lateral thinking? Well, that's what this blog is partly about. But for those who really want some kind of explanation now: lateral-thinking is about using the part of the brain that thinks in terms of patterns as opposted to logic (I'm sorry, that's all I am going to say about lateral thinking for the moment ..). Creativity involves not just creative thinking but also artistic inspiration (and I am not going to begin to explain what that is - at least not yet - and, anyway, the point of this blog, is to show - not to tell). And at some point there is a cross-over between the two (lateral-thinking and artistic inspiration). What that cross over is, exactly, ... is something that I am going to explore in this blog.
